Carey and Sons Marine has a rich history that spans generations, rooted in a passion for boating and a commitment to excellent customer service. The company was founded by Vanno Carey, who started with a small showroom in Breckenridge, Texas. From these humble beginnings, the Carey family built a legacy in the marine industry that continues to thrive today.
Our History
Carey and Son’s Marine is a third generation, family-owned and operated boating business. Since 1962, the Carey name has been synonymous with quality boats, fair prices, and great customer service. Founder Vanno Carey started with just a small showroom in Breckenridge, Texas, and a belief that “a handshake and a smile are always a part of the deal”.
In 1990, with business booming, Carey and Son’s expanded to include a larger facility in Granbury, Texas which is operated by Romney Carey. After 60 plus years, two showrooms, and countless boats later, Carey and Son’s Marine is one of the premier boat dealerships in North Texas, providing quality new and used boats. We continue to focus on providing customers with the best possible buying experience and invite you to take a look at our inventory online or in our Granbury showroom.
